Replacing Rubber Mounts on Both Control Arms


Caution!
Always replace rubber mounts in pairs.





Remove bracket for control arm.
Press rubber mount out of bracket using special tool 31 2 131/133.

Installation:





Check installation location.
Marking (1) on rubber mount points to marking (2) on bracket.
Remove grease from bracket and rubber mount.





Position rubber mount on chamfered side of bracket.
Using special tool 31 2 131/133, press in rubber mount up to measurement (A).
(A)=18.0 ± 0.3 mm

Caution!





Larger protrusion (A) of rubber mount must be located on side of centering bores-larger diameter-of bracket.
