Replacing Left Lamp For Left Xenon Light


WARNING: Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (exterior lights).


M54 only:
Remove intake filter housing.







M62 only:
Detach expansion tank, supply reservoir for power steering pump and main flow oil filter housing (disconnect plug connection on level switch) from equipment carrier.
Release screws (1) and remove equipment carrier (2).







All:


NOTE: For purposes of clarity, illustration shows component removed.


Release screws (1) and remove protective cap.

Installation Note: If necessary, replace seal on protective cap.







Turn plug connection (1) counterclockwise through approx. 45° and disconnect.
Turn snap ring (2) counterclockwise through approx. 45°.
Remove lamp for xenon light.
