Open trunk lid.
Unclip cover.







Twist the defective lamp socket and remove.
Light bulb out of socket







Caution! Do not take hold of glass part of bulb with bare fingers. Only take hold of bulb on base or with a clean cloth or packaging of light bulb. Note type of bulb.
