Belt Catch Tensioner (Information On Mechanical System)

NOTE: The electrical system is described separately.

Manual seat adjustment
In order to avoid unintentional activation during seat adjustment (jerky movement against end stop) or assembly work on seat, the system is armed and disarmed by a Bowden cable (1).

Electrical seat adjustment
During assembly work on seat, the system is disarmed by inserting screw (2). This is checked by means of colored display (3):
red = disarmed
green = armed

IMPORTANT!
The system is activated when cable is connected on seat or green display is visible.
A belt catch tensioner which has been triggered must always be replaced.
