Replacing Carbon Canister (M3 With DM-TL)

Removing And Installing/Replacing Carbon Canister (M Roadster, M Coupe And Z3/USA)







Open hose clip (1) and pull off evaporation line.

Installation:
Replace hose clip.







Unfasten plastic nut (1).
Unfasten hexagon bolt (2) and take off clamping strap (3).
Carefully lower the activated carbon canister.







Actuate unlocking fixture (2) and pull off vent line (1).







Unclip the tank vent line (1) and the vent line (2) on the front side of the activated carbon canister.

Installation:
Clip in lines in the proper position.







Press together ring (1) to release the detent. Pull off tank vent line (2).
Remove activated carbon canister.
