Rear

Remove/replacing rear left or right coil spring (compact, Z3)

Note:
Removing output shaft from final drive, refer to Axle Shaft Assembly, Constant Velocity Type.
If necessary, unscrew stabilizer on trailing arm.





Caution:
Shock absorber has a retaining strap effect.
Support trailing arm.
Unscrew screw.
Installation:
Use washer (1).
Tightening torque, refer to Specification





Lower trailing arm and take off barrel spring.

Installation:
Check coil spring for surface damage and spring mounts, replacing if necessary.
Only refit coil springs with identical number.
