Replacing Windshield Wiper Motor

Before disassembly, run wiper motor in rest position (if still possible).
Comply with general instructions for disconnecting the battery. Refer to Service Precautions. Vehicle Damage Warnings

- Remove complete wiper console.




- Unfasten nut on motor crank and pry off crank from motor.


NOTE: Drive rods remain fitted: illustrated without drive rods for sake of clarity.




- Unfasten screws and remove wiper motor from console.

Installation:
- Replace screws.
- Screw new wiper motor onto wiper console, connect to vehicle wiring harness and run in rest position.




Installation:
- Fit motor crank onto shaft in such a way that it forms one line with drive rod on passenger side.




- Brace motor crank in locating bore of wiper console with drift and tighten down to specification.
