SITUATION
Customer complaint of a hard 2-3 upshift, especially noticeable when releasing the accelerator pedal after the 1-2 shift or during the warm-up phase.
CAUSE
EGS/TCM calibration
CORRECTION
Reprogram the EGS with "CD23.0 update" (P23.1)
PROCEDURE
1. Before reprogramming the EGS, check the "programmed control module" number on the EGS ID page. If the numbers shown are displayed, do not reprogram the EGS. Contact the Technical Hotline for further instructions.
2. If the numbers listed above are not displayed on the ID page, then reprogram the EGS with CD23.0 "update" (P23.1).
3. An automatic determination can be used to program this calibration into the EGS.
4. After programming, verify the correct basic and programmed control module numbers (listed above).
