Replacing Finisher on Front Door Window Frame, Left or Right

Removing And Installing/Replacing Finisher On Front Door Window Frame, Left Or Right

Remove window cavity cover strip on outside of front door.
Partially lever out cover (anti-trap protection) on door window frame at rear.
Open door window.







Partially detach rubber window seal (1) at rear.

Installation:
For installation, coat window rubber guide (1) with turpentine substitute (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).

Release screws (2)
Lever out finisher (3) and detach towards rear.







Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty plastic nuts (1).







If necessary, replace faulty clip (1) on finisher (2).
