Board Monitor Conversion
MODEL
E53 (X5) with Navigation system (option 609) from start of production up to March 2001.
SITUATION
The LC Display unit (small board monitor) is no longer available as a spare part.
INFORMATION
When replacement of a faulty LC display (small display) is required, the wide screen monitor conversion kit P/N 65 90 0 136 732 must be used.
Refer to installation instruction P/N 01 29 0 141 872 in ASAP (After Sales Assistance Portal) on the CenterNet website.
In addition:
When performing this repair on vehicles produced prior to October 2000, the navigation computer must be changed to a DVD navigation computer, P/N 65 90 6 942 910.
