Z3 Quick Test Diagnosis I MRS III Diagnosis

MODEL:
Z3 roadster, Z3 coupe

Situation:
The Quick Test will "hang up" on "ABE Airbag".

Cause:
Software error in CD 18.0 and earlier.

Vehicles Affected:
Z3 roadster, coupe produced 3/99 and later.

Correction:
When running a complete Quick Test, switch off the ignition during the "ABE Airbag" test. Switch the ignition ON when the test moves to "MRS III Multiple Restraint System" and allow the quick test to tin ish.
