Sunroof / Moonroof Windguard: Service and Repair

Replacing Wind Deflector:

NOTE: Open sun roof.







Unscrew left and right screws and remove covers, refer to Technical Data.


CAUTION!
Tightening torque = 1.3 Nm
A sun roof cassette with stripped threads must be replaced.







Run the sun-roof mechanism back step by step carefully (approx. 50 mm) until sleds on left-hand and right-hand sides can be removed.

Electric Sun Roof:
If applicable, run back using the emergency operator.







Twist left and right arms at top and remove towards outside.







Press down on wind deflector slightly, lift out on left and right sides and remove it.

Installation:
Insert spring correctly.
