Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Replacing pulse generator

Remove valve body.





Impulse sensor for output speed:
Pull off plug (1).
Remove screws (2 and 3).

Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specifications.





Lift off pulse sender.

Caution: Watch out for spacers (4 and 5).





Impulse sensor for turbine speed:
Pull off plug (1).
Remove screws (2 and 3).
Lift off pulse sender.

Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specifications.
