Version Without Interlock/Shiftlock

Unscrew cheese-head screw (3 mm hexagon socket).
Pull off handle with pull rod.





Installation: Button not pressed.
Engage pin (1) of button in bore (2) of pull rod.





Remove clock or on-board display.
Remove bottom panelling.





Remove cover for selector lever.
Pull off EGS switch connector (3) and display light (4).





Disconnect connector (6). Lift off retainer (7).
Unscrew cable on holder and pull off in forwards direction.
Disconnect cable in eye.





Installation:
Guide turning lock with bore in beads.
Mount cable in this position.





Unscrew mounting bolts.

Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specifications.





Cant and remove mounting block in upwards direction.





Installation:
Check installed position of seal between mounting block and body.

3. Seal
Check condition of seals, replacing if necessary.
Adjust shift, refer to Shift Linkage A/T, Adjustments.
