Soft Top Raised

Replacing Micro Switch




- S4: Microswitch for "soft top closed" Microswitch cuts in when soft top is closed.


NOTE: Soft top linkage is in "fully raised position". This switch prevents actuation of the soft top while soft top is closed.





- Unfasten screws with special tool 54 3 160.
- Disconnect connector.

Installation:
- After assembly, the fault memory in the cabriolet soft-top module (CVM) must be cleared and the soft-top module re-initialized.




- Check setting:
- Disconnect soft-top drive units.
- Close and lock soft top.
- Connect MoDiC.
- Microswitch for "soft top closed"
- Select switch 4.
- Set microswitch in such a way that microswitch cuts in.
- Microswitch: tighten adjusting screws.
