Removing and Installing / Replacing All Rear Seat Belts




NOTE: Removing rear seat and backrest.


Remove rear-window shelf or, for Cabriolet, remove center cover.






Unfasten screws.

Installation:
Install washers.
Tightening Torque =48 Nm







Lift cover out, work seat belt strap out and guide it through opening in hatrack.







Unscrew automatic reels.







Installation:
Turning lock must engage. Install washers.
Tightening Torque = 48 Nm







Remove cover.
Remove belt lock.

Installation:
Install washers.
Tightening Torque = 48 Nm







Remove cap (1).
Unscrew bolt (2) and remove together with shim (3).
Pull out end plate (4) to one side.
Pull out automatic reel.







Installation:
Automatic reel must snap into place in hooks at backrest shelf
Tightening Torque = 48 Nm
