Belt-Lock Tightener

Description:
A mechanical impact sensor activates the system in the event of a head-on collision. A pre-tensioned spring pulls back belt lock approx. 55 mm. Shoulder and waist belts are tightened.

Manually adjustable seats:
To avoid unwanted activation during seat adjustment (sudden movement against final stop) or when working on the seat, the system is activated and deactivated using a Bowden cable (1).

Electrically adjustable seats:
The system is deactivated by screwing in screw (2) for working on the seat. Check colour of display (3).

Red = deactivated
Green = activated

CAUTION: The system is activated when cable is connected on seat or green display is visible. An activated belt-lock tightener must always be replaced.
