Pressure Regulating Solenoid: Service and Repair

Replacing pressure regulator for valve body

Remove valve body.





Pressure regulator (7) cannot be replaced separately, since the modulation pressure has to be adjusted.
Modulation pressure can only be adjusted by the manufacturers.
Replace pressure regulator (7) only in conjunction with valve housing (2).





Remove solenoid valve (1 - 6), refer to Shift Solenoid.
Remove valve housing from valve body.
Loosen screws (3 - 13).

Caution: Check length of screws.

Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specifications.





Take valve housing (2) with pressure regulator (7) off of valve body.
