Fuel Filler Neck: Service and Repair

- Draw the fuel out of the fuel tank. Service and Repair




- Remove rear right wheel.
- Remove rear right wheel arch trim.




- Disconnect filler ventilation line.
- Remove connecting hose to fuel tank.




- Unfasten lower end of fuel filler pipe.




- Unfasten upper end of fuel filler pipe.
- Pull complete fuel filler pipe out of rubber sleeve on wheel arch.

CAUTION: After installing the fuel filler pipe, check electrical resistance between ground strap (tank filler pipe) and wheel hub. Measuring value approx. 0.6 ohm.
