Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

- Open hose clip (1) and pull off evaporation line.

Installation Note:
- Replace hose clip.




- Unfasten plastic nut (1).
- Unfasten hexagon bolt (2) and take off clamping strap (3).
- Carefully lower the activated carbon canister.




- Actuate unlocking fixture (2) and pull off vent line (1).




- Unclip the tank vent line (1) and the vent line (2) on the front side of the activated carbon canister.

Installation Note:
- Clip in lines in the proper position.




- Press together ring (1) to release the detent. Pull off tank vent line (2).
- Remove activated carbon canister.
