Thermostat: Service and Repair

Removing fan coupling with fan wheel and fan cowl, refer to Fan Clutch, Service and Repair.





Drain and dispose of coolant.

Installation:
Replace seal.
Tightening torque, refer to Engine, Specifications.
Bleeding cooling system and checking for water leaks, refer to Cooling System, Service and Repair





Unfasten water hoses.





Unscrew suspension eye.





Remove cable channel.





Unfasten thermostat housing.





Installation: Keep sealing faces clean and free of oil. Replace seal.





Installation:
Check installed direction.
Vent with arrow facing upwards Replace seal.
