ABS/ASC/DSC Indicator Lamp

Activation of the warning indicator lamps in the instrument cluster is an output function of the ABS/ASC control module.

The indicator lamps are illuminated whenever there is a fault with either the ABS or ASC system. If the fault only effects the ASC, then only the ASC warning lamp will illuminate. The Automatic Slip Control (ASC) warning lamp will also illuminate whenever the ASC system is manually switched OFF.

During traction control regulation, the module signals the instrument cluster to illuminate the warning display. The warning lamp flashes as long as the regulation is active.
