Replacing Both Seat Rails on Front Seat (Power)

Removing and installing or replacing both seat rails on left or right sports seat (power)


NOTE:
Remove seat,
Remove seat belt tensioner,
Remove seat cushion padding,

Remove actuator drive for longitudinal adjustment and leaving attached (suspended),

Remove seat forward/back control drive unit left and right,

Unscrew and leave front-end of seat up/down control gearbox and drive unit attached (suspended),








Remove screw and remove shoe guard.







Lift out securing plugs at front and rear and remove plate (1).







Installation:
Retainer must fit central to the counterpiece.

Press on plate and install plugs.







Remove left and right screw.







Coupe:
Remove screw (1) and leave steel cable hanging on frame.







Unscrew bolts.
Pull complete seat rails off frame







Installation:
Connect special tools 61 2 071 and 61 2 072 (adapter leads) on white plug and 12 V power supply source.

Check function.
Assemble seat.
