Replacing Cushion Shell on Front Seat (Power)
Removing and installing or replacing cushion shell on left or right front seat (power)
NOTE:
Note colors of wires to avoid mixing up the drive units.
Remove seat cushion padding,
Move backrest back.
Unscrew bolts.
Pull off control knobs (1 and 2) and remove screws.
Cars with Lumbar Support:
Lift out switch (3) upwards and disconnect plug.
Loosen cable straps (1) and (2).
Loosen cable straps.
Disconnect plugs (1) and (2).
Unlock and pull off plug receptacle in forwards direction.
Remove screws and pull off control unit in downward direction.
Loosen cable straps.
Disconnect plugs (3) and (4).
Unlock and pull off plug receptacles in forward direction.
Lift out control unit housing together with plug.
Unlock plug receptacle using a screwdriver.
Guide plug receptacle through the control unit and cushion shell.
NOTE: If necessary, open up hole in seat cushion slightly.

Installation:
S1 Plug/actuator drive for seat height, front
S2 Plug/actuator drive for longitudinal adjustment
S3 Plug/actuator drive for backrest adjustment
S4 Plug/actuator drive for seat height, rear
S5 Insert plug through operating unit to switch for seat adjustment
S6 Plug to switch for lumbar support
S7 Plug, 12 V seat adjustment
S8 Plug, 12 V seat heating (base of seat)
S9 Plug, 12 V seat heating (backrest)
K.. Black cable straps
Connect special tools 61 2 071 and 61 2 072 (adapter leads) on white plug and 12 V power supply source.
Check function.
