Replacing Seat Forward/Back Drive on Front Seat

Removing and installing or replacing seat forward/back drive on left or right front seat


NOTE: Move up seat at front and rear ends as far as possible. Remove seat.







Loosen cable strap (1) and pull off protective sleeve
Loosen cable strap (2) and disconnect plug.
Unlock and pull off plug receptacle in forward position.







Actuator drive secured with 3 screws;
Remove screws (1) and (2).
Remove forward/back drive towards rear.







Secured with 2 screws and 1 rivet:
Lift out securing plugs at front and rear and remove plate (1).







Installation note:
Retainer must fit central to the counterpiece.

Press on plate and install plugs.







Drill off rivet (1).
Unscrew bolts (2).

Installation note:
Replace rivet (1) with M5 x 16 hex. head screw, self-locking nut M5 and two corrugated washers.







Installation note:
Insert input shaft (1) (bendable) in transmission (2).

Guide drive shafts into drive (3) and tighten drive screws.
