Replacing Seat Forward/Back Gearboxes on Front Seat

Removing and installing or replacing left and right seat forward/back gearboxes on front seat

Remove front seat,

Remove seat forward/back drive,







Lift out securing plugs at front and rear and remove plate (1).







Installation:
Retainer must seat centrally to counterpiece.

Press on plate and install plugs.







Unscrew bolts.
Remove gearboxes (1) and (2).







Installation:
Push back seat rail (1) to distance (A) so that gearboxes can be installed.

Distance (A) = approx. 60 mm (depending on gearbox position).







Run left and right seat rails (1) to same position via drive shaft (2) with drive.
Tighten seat rail screws.







Installation:
Connect special tools 61 2 071 and 61 2 072 (adapter leads) on white plug and 12 V power supply source.

Check function.
