Mechanical Top

ADJUSTING LEFT OR RIGHT SOFT TOP COMPARTMENT COVER LOCK:

Requirements:
- Soft top compartment cover and gaskets must be correctly installed and adjusted.




- Open side windows.
- Unlock soft top and raise over dead center.
- Lift clamping bracket and soft top compartment cover upright.




- Fold soft top compartment cover down onto soft top compartment cover locks and adjust side locking brackets (1) on left/right so that rotary locks (2) on left/right locate in center of locking bracket (1).




- Loosen screws (3) and move soft top compartment cover locks forwards or backwards until the locking brackets (1) engage in the rotary locks (2) at distance (B).

Distance (B) = approx. 3 mm




- Close soft top compartment cover.
- Determine difference in height between front of soft top compartment cover and side panels on left and right sides.




- Screw in left and right support bracket locks (1) by the correct amount.

Installation Note: Adjust switch for convertible lid (forced locking). Check function.
