Lid Locks

ADJUSTING BOTH CONVERTIBLE TOP LID LOCKS:

Requirements: Convertible top compartment cover and gaskets must be correctly installed and adjusted. Check that convertible top locks are in block position and adjust Bowden cables if necessary.




- Open side windows.
- Lift clamping bracket and soft top compartment cover upright.




- Fold down convertible top lid onto convertible top lid locks. The clamping brackets (1) on left and right must engage in rotary latches (2) in center.




- Loosen screws (3).
- Push convertible top locks forwards or backwards until the clamping brackets (1) engage in the rotary latches (2) at distance (B).

Distance (B) = approx.1... 3 mm




- Close the convertible-top lid completely (the length of the convertible-top-lid locks (2) can be adjusted using the clamping brackets (1)).
- Open convertible top lid and tighten screws (3). Check setting of convertible top lid height.
- Check function.
