Replacing Headlining

Removing and Installing/Replacing Headlining (Version With Slide/Tilt Sun-Roof)

Remove both A-pillar trim sections.

Removing trim panels from both B-pillars and stow in luggage compartment (do not remove front seat, seat belt remains on seat)

Service and Repair

Remove both C-pillar trim sections,

Service and Repair

Remove both sun visors and counter support,

Service and Repair






Version with mechanical slide/tilt sun-roof:
Remove screws and take off plate.







Remove screws and take off plate.







Unclip inside light and disconnect plug.







Version with electric slide/tilt sun-roof:
Unclip plate downwards and disconnect plug.







With interior light package version:
If applicable, lift out left/right interior light and pull connector.







Pull edge guards off in front of door openings partially.







Lift off trim panels.
Unfasten screws and remove all grab handles.







Pull off edge guards in back door openings partially.







CAUTION!
Do not bend the roof liner.


Move front seats forward as far as possible.
Fold down passenger-seat backrest.
Put driver seat backrest into upright position.
Hold roof liner tight and pull off edge guard.







Push back roof liner slightly and unhook rear end on roof flange.

2. Rear window
3. Headliner
4. Sheet metal web

Installation:
Make sure that rear end of roof liner is hooked onto roof flange correctly.







sedan:
Twist roof liner and lift it out through the back door on the driver's side.

coupe:
Twist off roof liner and lift it out through the door on the passenger's side.
