Replacing Airbag Module on Passenger Side

Removing and installing right glovebox.







CAUTION!
Note safety regulations for handling airbag modules and pyrotechnical seatbelt tensioners.
Incorrect handling can activate airbag and result in injury.







Lift cover (1) off passenger airbag.







If necessary, unfasten cable tie for plug connection on airbag module. Open lock on connector (1) by applying pressure to tab and unfasten the connector.
Unfasten screws (2) on bracket (3) and remove airbag module

Installation:
Tightening Torque for screws (2) = 24 Nm

If necessary, remove retaining strap for cover from passenger airbag by unfastening screws (4) and remove cover.
