Removing and installing/replacing actuator drive for front seat adjustment (longitudinal adjustmen
NOTE:
Move seat up as far as possible.
Remove seat cushion,
Unscrew bolts.
Loosen cable straps (1) and (2).
Pull off protective sleeve. Disconnect plug.
Unlock and pull off plug receptacle in forward position.
NOTE: Tilt seat cushion shell upwards and hold in this position (e.g. support with a hammer).
Actuator drive secured with 3 screws:
Remove screws (1) and (2).
Remove forward/back control drive towards rear.
Secured with 2 screws and 1 rivet:
Drill off rivet (1).
Loosen screws (2).
Installation:
Rivet connection (1) is replaced by hex bolt M5 x 16, self- locking nut and 2 corrugated washers.
Installation:
Insert input shaft (1) (bendable) in transmission (2).
Guide drive shafts into drive (3) and tighten drive screws.
Installation:
Connect special tools 61 2 071 and 61 2 072 (adapter leads) on white plug and 12 V power supply source.
Check function.
