Vibration Resistant Battery

E36 Convertible

Situation:
The E36 convertible battery is not only an energy source. The battery is also used as a vibration damper. Due to this additional function the battery also has a special battery tray with an integrated vibration absorber. If it becomes necessary to replace the battery, a vibration resistant one must be installed.

NOTE:
Warranty claims will only be accepted if a vibration resistant battery was installed. Refer to the electronic parts catalog for current part number.





E36 convertible batteries are special labeled as "Vibration-Proof".
