Removing and Installing Tandem Power Steering Pump

- Empty the pressure reservoir by operating the brake pedal about 20 times.

- Draw hydraulic fluid out of the tank - never reuse it.

- Disconnect lines.

Installation:
Replace gaskets.
Tightening torque M14 35 Nm, M16 40 Nm.
Bleed hydraulic system.





1 = To steering
2 = To tank
3 = To ride level height control





- Loosen bolt and nuts.

- Take off drive belt.





Installation:
Turn tensioning lever (1) against the stop on the bolt.
Tighten bolt and nuts.





- Hold pulley tight with help of the drive belt.

- Unscrew bolts.





- Unscrew bolts.





- Unscrew bolt.

- Take off tandem pump.
