Before commencing any work, disable airbag. Service Precautions
1. Wrap tips of snap ring pliers tool No. 61 1 300, or equivalent, with insulating tape, Fig. 2.
2. Place tips of pliers into slot of switch trim, expand pliers and carefully pull trim out of dash.
3. Remove switch mask and slide.
4. Compress switch retainer clips, then pull switch from dash.
5. Disconnect electrical connectors.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
