Blower Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVING AND INSTALLING BLOWER (FOR HEATER)

- Disconnect battery ground pole.

- Pull up rubber profile.





- Pull off plug and spill hose in expansion tank.





- Unscrew left and right nuts on expansion tank and place tank aside.

Note: Don't bend the coolant hose.





- Cut off wire straps.





- Unscrew screws and pull up cover.





- Disconnect cable and unclip in cover.

- Open plastic retainer and take off cover.





- Pull off plug.

- Lift out metal retainer and remove blower.

Installation:
Location of the blower motor is given by the shape of the housing.

- Check armature axial play.

Important! Don't remove or turn blower wheels on the motor shaft, since the motor was balancvd together with the blower wheels.
