Situation:
"Hands Free" audio cannot be heard, and no dial or pushbutton tones can be heard when in the Hands Free mode of the BMW Cellular Telephone.





Correction:
The speaker system must be checked according to the corrected Diagnostic Procedure page included with this 3.1. This procedure includes an ohmic check of each coil of the dual coil speakers. If either coil of a speaker is found to be more than 10 ohms resistance, the speaker must be replaced.





The updated page included with this S.I. should be substituted for Page 6501.0B-12 of the E32/E34 ETM Diagnostic Procedures Volume 3. Remove the discard the original page.
