Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR, REPLACING

The evaporator temperature sensor is mounted in the left side of the evaporator housing behind the center console. The sensor can be reached after removing the carpeted trim panel from the left side of the console.

1. Disconnect negative (-) battery terminal.

2. On left side of center console, remove carpeted trim panel.




3. Disconnect electrical connector from evaporator temperature sensor and pull sensor straight out of evaporator housing.

4. Installation is reverse of removal.
