Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

REMOVE AND INSTALL

Charcoal Canister R&R:

- Unfasten connecting nipple with special tool 16 1 040 and remove tank breather.

Charcoal Canister R&R:

- Pull hose free of carbon canister.

Charcoal Canister R&R:

- Unclip filter vent.

Charcoal Canister R&R:

- Unfasten screws (1 and 2), active carbon filter.
- Reinstall in reverse order.
