Air Conditioning Microfilter

Replacing Microfilter (Air Conditioning System)

The filter is located in the passenger compartment, under the dash.

Glovebox Removal.:

- Remove the glovebox. Remove screws. Pull the trim panel forward out of the rear clip.

Cover Removal.:

- Pull the clip out and remove the cover.

Air Duct.:

- Remove screws and lift the air duct out.

Control Unit.:

- Pull all plugs off of the control unit and place the wire harness on top.
- With Automatic Climate Control - Also pull plug off of the final stage.

Pulling The Final Stage Out.:

- With Automatic Climate Control - Remove screws and pull the final stage out.

Removing The Cover.:

- Remove screw (1), turn holder (2) about 90° and remove the cover.

Removal And Installation Of The Micro-Filter.:

- Pull out micro-filter.

NOTE: In RHD models the filter is split longitudinally so that it will be easier to pull it past the steering column.
