Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair

AIR DISTRIBUTION MOTORS, REPLACING

The distribution of air is controlled by a series of flaps that are actuated by stepper motors. Depending on the air conditioning version installed, there are up to ten distribution motors located in various areas of the passenger compartment.

To remove an air distribution motor, disconnect the harness connector and unclip the motor with gearbox from housing.
