Trouble Code 40 (Pressure Regulator)

PRESSURE REGULATOR
Explanation
The pressure regulator is checked completely by the control unit during the initialization phase by briefly activating it. During operation, the defect is detected by internal feedback of the signal.

Effect of Defect
Mechanical emergency program.

Possible Cause
Wire or winding of pressure regulator defective.

Troubleshooting
Perform component activation. Measure signals. Ground is constantly applied at the control unit Pin 41. When active, control unit switches positive current-controlled to Pin 40.
