Trouble Code 208 (Detection Brake Light Switch Defective)
DETECTION BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH DEFECTIVEExplanation
The selector lever cannot be engaged in a drive range despite the brake pedal being depressed (only with P/B shift-lock).
Possible Cause
The wire to the control unit Pin 39 is defective.
Troubleshooting
Perform status monitoring. Compare displayed brake light switch to actual situation.
- A voltage of 12 V is applied at Pin 39 when the brake light switch is active
- Ground is applied at Pin 15 when the brake light test switch is active
