Tightening Torque:
Screw-in pin on camshaft M7 20 Nm
Intake camshaft sprocket nut to stud (M6) M6 10 Nm
Secondary timing chain sprockets to camshafts (M7 Torx bolts)
Stage 1 5 N.m (44 in-lb)
Stage 2 22 N.m (17 ft-lb)
On 1993 and later engines:
Exhaust camshaft sprockets to camshafts (M7 Torx bolts)
Stage 1 5 N.m (44 in-lb)
Stage 2 22 N.m (17 ft-lb)





CAUTION!

There is a danger of mixing up:
(1) Studs for cylinder-head covers.
(2) Studs for thrust washers and sprockets for engines built before March 1995 (version without plate spring).
(3) Studs for thrust washers and sprockets for engines built from March 1995 and on (version with plate spring).
