Replacing Guide (Holder For Rotary Catch)

NOTE: Remove sunroof lid.







Lower Sun-roof Lid At Rear End By Distance (A)
Distance (A) = 2-3 mm
Slowly pull the floating roof liner forward as far as possible.







Remove Torx screws on left and right sides and light out floating roof liner.






Lift out left sliding rail.







Run sun roof mechanism back by approx. 50 mm.
Unscrew left and right bolts. Lift off cover.
Take out sliding rails.

Installation:
Insert sliding rails, push back and clip on.







Pull off edge guard in left-hand zone







Partially pull off edge guard on door. Remove left sun visor and holder.







Push left front plate between car roof liner and rivets to be drilled off.


CAUTION!
Extract burrs from drilling simultaneously.
Drill off both rivets.







Hook angled end of approx. 2 mm dia. welding wire in bore (1) and pull rotary catch forward.
In so doing, move sun roof mechanism back by operating the winder or motor (sun roof lid opens).







Lift cross member with a screwdriver and pull rotary catch forward.


NOTE: Remove (extract) rest of rotary catch if necessary







Installation:
Position rotary catch (1) and drive (2) correctly.
