Replacing Headliner For Sun Roof Lid:

Installation:
If necessary, apply light coat of Renax GL1 (Fuchs) grease to guide duct. Remove sun-roof lid.







The mechanism must be lowered at the back by dimension (A). If necessary, lower as with the installed slide/tilt sunroof cover.
Distance (A) = 2-3 mm







Slowly slide floating roof liner right back (with clean hands, or wearing protective gloves).







Version with rotary tumbler:
Slide headliner back slightly and unfasten 2 Torx screws (rotary tumbler) on left side.







Unfasten left/right Torx screws and pull headliner forwards/upwards to remove.







NOTE: After disassembly of headliner, do not extend mechanism otherwise rotary tumbler or fulcrum pad slides backwards
