SUBJECT: Spark Plugs - Dual Electrode

MODELS: M50 B25

Situation:
A new dual (2) electrode spark plug has been introduced in production on M50 B25 engines since 9/92. The spark plug designation is Bosch F8LDCR or NGK BKR6EK.





The table indicates all spark plug applications for M50 engines to date.

Refer to Service Information bulletin 12 03 85 (1085) for BMW special tools/torque specifications for removal and installation of all spark plugs.
