Flap Control

Operation
The ventilation, footwell and defroster flaps are continuously variable by means of an operating cable assembly. The fresh air, recirculated air and mixing flaps are set by means of stepper motors.

The fresh air flaps are controlled dependent on the air flow control wheel and the vehicle speed. By pressing the recirculated air push button the fresh air flaps are closed and the recirculation air flaps open. The mixing air flaps are adjusted by the mixing air control wheel and the control Ydriver. When the ignition is switched off, the flaps driven by stepper motors remain in the position last selected.
