Vacuum Brake Booster: Testing and Inspection

1. Detach vacuum hose on brake booster.
2. Install vacuum test tool No. 34-3-100 or equivalent between booster and check valve.
3. Check vacuum when decelerating from an engine speed of 3000 RPM with engine at normal operating temperature.
4. Minimum vacuum value is 5 psi.
5. Repeat test several times.
