Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

Injector Location:

Remove and Install
1. Remove the support bracket from the valve cover.
2. Remove the fuel injector electrical connectors.
3. Unscrew the four bolts connecting the fuel injector rail to the intake manifold.
4. Pull the injector rail up until it clears the intake manifold guide.
5. Carefully slide the injector retainer(s) off and disconnect the fuel injectors.
6. Reinstall in the reverse manner.
