Replacing Rocker Arms

REPLACING ROCKER ARMS

Remove rocker arm shafts. Service and Repair




Replace worn rocker arms or rocker arms with loose guides.

Loose guides will be noticed at excessively loud valve noise.




Transfer screw (1), eccentric (2), washer (3) and nut (4) to new rocker arm.

Replace a worn eccentric.

Important! Screw and nut have M 6 x 0.75 fine threads.

Bore faces out and thick side down.

Bevelled surface of screw faces tab on rocker arm.
